Getting started

Open camskip.live and tap the start button. You begin as a guest, so there is no form to fill in. The browser will ask to use your camera and microphone; allow both. The full walk-through is in how to video chat.

When the camera or microphone will not start

Most of the time the browser has blocked permission, or another program is using the camera. Check the camera icon in the address bar, close other video apps and reload the page. Step-by-step fixes for each browser are in the same setup guide.

A match will not connect

When a match does not connect, the site looks for another by itself. If it keeps failing, check your connection. Wi-Fi is steadier than mobile data for video. If matching keeps failing, reload the page. If you have no free matches left, look at the Reward Center at the top of the match screen.

Free matches and coins

Each new match uses a free match or coins, and a call that continues past its free time runs on coins. The rules are on Is CamSkip free?. If coins you paid for did not arrive, email support with the order details.

Guests and signing in

A guest session sits in the browser where it began. Clearing the browser or changing device starts a new one, and whatever was attached to the old one may be lost. Signing in keeps them tied to an account instead. More on that in video chat with no registration.

Finding someone again

Follow people you liked before the call ends. Their profile is then where you can send a message or start a video call. You can also look for them in Who's online.

Reporting and blocking

Use the report option, pick a reason and describe what happened. Block is separate, and you can do both. The rules are in the Community Guidelines.

Deleting your account

Write to [email protected] and ask for deletion. Tell us which account it is so we can find it. See the Privacy Policy for what is removed.
