Community Guidelines

CamSkip works because there is a real person on the other camera. These guidelines exist so that person, and you, can have a conversation without being harassed, tricked or put at risk. They apply on calls, in messages and on profiles.

18 and over, no exceptions

Nobody under 18 may use CamSkip, appear on camera, or be shown in a photo. If you believe you have been matched with someone under 18, end the call and report it right away.

Be decent to the person you are talking to

Say hello. If the chat is not for you, moving to the next person is fine and nobody needs a reason. What is not fine: insults, slurs, threats, unwanted advances, or mocking someone for how they look or speak.

No means no

If someone says they are not comfortable with a topic or a request, drop it. Repeating a request after a refusal is harassment and can be reported as such.

Keep money out of it

Do not ask other people for money, gift cards, bank details or payments outside the site, and do not send any if you are asked. Advertising, selling and steering people to other platforms are not allowed.

Do not capture or share someone else

Do not screenshot, film or publish another person's video, photos or messages without their clear consent. Threatening to share such material is a serious violation and may also be a crime.

Be who you appear to be

No impersonation, no video played from a file and passed off as live, no bots. Use your own camera and your own face or voice.

Nothing illegal

Content or behavior that is illegal, including anything involving minors, violence, weapons trading or drugs dealing, is banned and may be passed to the authorities.

How to report and block

Use the report option, choose a reason and add a short description. You can also block the person, and you can write to [email protected]. Breaking these guidelines can cost someone their access to the site.
