What does CamSkip actually do?
It connects you one-on-one by video with girls who are online, at random or by choice, and lets you follow, message, call back and translate text. In a browser, free to start.
Feature 1
It is the start button: tap it and CamSkip connects you by video with one person who is online at that moment. You do not choose who; that is the point. A call is one-on-one, two people and two cameras.
What it solves: the blank-page problem. You do not need to browse, compare or compose a message. One tap produces a face and a hello. How a random call connects, and what remains in your hands, is on the random video call page.
Feature 2
Next ends the call you are in and starts a new random match. It becomes available shortly after a call connects. It is the feature the site is named after, and it means no conversation has to drag.
What it solves: being stuck. In a random chat you owe nobody your whole evening. Each new match uses one of your free matches, or coins after those. The details and the manners are on skip video chat.
Feature 3
A list of people on the site right now, which you can view by country. Tap a card and the profile opens.
What it solves: wanting a say. Random is fun, but sometimes you would rather see who is around and pick. Browsing the list does not use a match. Choosing someone and calling her is the route described on girl video chat, and how to read the list is on live chat video.
Feature 4
It keeps her findable. Follow a person you enjoyed talking to, and the next time you open CamSkip you can go to her profile instead of hoping to run into her.
What it solves: the one-off. Without it, a great random match is gone the moment the call ends. With it, a good conversation can have a second episode.
Feature 5
Two direct things besides following. You can write to that person, which opens a text conversation between the two of you. And you can start a one-on-one video call with her, with no random match in between.
What it solves: getting back to a specific person, and starting gently. If you are not ready to appear on camera, write first; the girl chat page has opening lines. When you both want to see each other, the call starts from the same profile.
Feature 6
Yes. The call screen has a text box beside the video, so you can type while both cameras are on. Speech and text run together; neither interrupts the other.
What it solves: the moments voice fails. Here are five moments where typing is quicker than repeating yourself louder.
Type the first line as well as saying it. "Hi, I'm Sam, from Texas" on screen gives her your name in writing while she is still working out your accent.
Feature 7
Text messages can be translated automatically. You write in your language, she reads it in hers, and the reply comes back in yours. It applies to typed messages, not to speech, which is why typing and translation belong together: say hello aloud, then put the real sentence in the text box.
What it solves: the language wall. The people on CamSkip come from many countries, and translation turns "we have nothing in common" into a real exchange. It rewards a particular way of writing.
Feature 8
No to both. You start as a guest: the site creates a session for your browser, and no form stands in front of the first call. And because CamSkip is a web app, it runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox with nothing to install. On a phone you can add it to your home screen.

Feature 9
The Reward Center, at the top of the match screen, is where you claim free matches. Coins are the paid balance. CamSkip is free to start: a match opens with free time, and if you stay on past it the call carries on using coins, with a notice shown in the call beforehand.
